Throughout the process of creating my Sparkle video I learned a lot. I not only increased my editing skills significantly, but I learned some new tricks on the broadcast camera. Up until this year, I had always used iMovie to edit my videos. However, this year I switched and started using Final Cut Pro (Pictured). It has definitely been an adjustment, despite the fact that the two programs are very similar. To add on, I learned how to use a broadcast camera. Not only that, I also learned how to use microphones to greatly increase the sound quality. Little did I know that using a microphone was not only super easy but it made the sound very clear- despite any background noise. In conclusion, I have learned so much from just one project. I will continue these tips and tricks from this point forward. Stay tuned for new projects coming up!
I recently created a video and published it to school tube all about the Ladue Sparkle effect. If you want to watch my video and find out more information about what Ladue sparkle effect is checkout my video page on my website. The reason I made the video about Sparkle effect was because HEC-TV hosted their October show and it was dedicated to "making a difference." The sparkle effect fit perfectly under this theme. It was so cool to have my video featured on a professional show. I had a lot of help filming and editing with this project. It was a bit challenging when I was editing but with some help, I figured it out. I can't wait to move forward from here and continue to grow!
